Area9 announce major Government sector supply contract win.
July, 11 2017: Darwin Australia: Leading ICT solution provider Area9 announce major contract win following a competitive tendering process for supply of Desktop and Laptop product to Northern Territory Government. Area9 was today announced as the successful tenderer for the Northern Territory Governments highly contested Desktop PC and Laptop supply contracts (D16-0263 & D16-0305). The multi-year contracts are for the supply and maintenance of all desktop, laptop and tablet PC’s across the Northern Territory Government and its Agencies. The successful bid was based on market leading products from HP not currently used in ether contract within the Northern Territory Government.
The contracts include the supply and maintenance of end user computing equipment to be used by Northern Territory Government staff across metro, regional and remote areas of the Territory. Area9’s Darwin based Procurement, Service Centre and Service Delivery teams will be responsible for supply chain and delivery requirements, as well as meeting the contractual obligations and co-ordinating all support activities relating to the hardware.

The Department of Corporate and Information Services (DCIS) who hold responsibility for the contract management on behalf of the NT Government and its agencies listed the laptop and desktop estimated contract values as $4,007,763 and $3,011,426 respectively.
