As the Director for Business Development at Area9 IT Solutions Simon's primary responsibility is to drive business growth into the commercial and public sector through continued expansion of Area9 IT Solutions's market leading capability and rapdily growing portfolio .

 

He has over 25 years experience in the IT Industry with extensive experience working for companies such and Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq Computers and HP in the UK and around the ANZ and Pacific region.

 

Simon has spent over a decade in the NT and has played a pivotal role in defining the application of IT technologies to solve business problems.

During this time Simon has participated in many industry strategy groups and forums and is currently a board member of the executive of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) NT.

 

Simon holds a Bachelors Degree in Systems Management, a Diploma in IT Studies and tertiary qualifications in engineering (both electronic & mechanical).
