Area9 wows the crowd at 2012 BNI annual dinner
The Business Network International Top End gala dinner was held on Wednesday 15 August 2012 at SkyCity Darwin. An enjoyable time was had by all, with an interesting presentation by Frederick Marcoux, BNI Australia National Director, entitled Networking and Sex (Not What You Think).
BNI is a business referral organisation whose primary purpose is to assist its members to find and exchange business referrals for each other.
At BNI meetings, all members are given 45 seconds to promote their businesses. Area9 gave a presentation with a twist...Director Mary McAlpine wore angel wings and wowed the crowd with a humorous limerick about Area9's capabilities. As a result of Mary's entertaining performance on the evening, Area9 received the BNI crocodile to display at Area9's headquarters.
