Based on formal performance appraisals, 100% of Area9’s workforce has clearly defined training objectives for the next 12 months.
Area9’s employees spend approximately 110 hours per month on training. This is dependent on business needs and the scheduling of external training not provided in-house by Area9. In support of the professional development of its staff, Area9 approves of, and pays for, interstate travel when required.
Area9’s Staff Training and Development Program and IT Industry Certification and Exam Program applies to all staff in fostering excellence and standardisation of skills in the Northern Territory IT sector.
