Area9 recently commissioned a generator to provide with increased capacity in the Area9 Data Centre and operational facility. Shorelands was on hand, with some impressive manoeuvring from the crane operator, to strategically place the 1350 kg machine in place.
The installation of the 344Kva generator provides exceptional levels of power protection to the Data Centre at Area9’s Headquarters in Winnellie. With electrical storms prominent in the Darwin region, this asset now means that Area9 now has stronger resilience in times of power outages, ensuring that our customers data is secure.
