HP Australia Partner Awards 2020 Elite Partner of the Year - Area9

It’s not every day you get awarded by a brand you admire and respect. We absolutely love working with HP and last year we were honoured to be recognised by HP as the Elite Partner of the Year at the annual HP Australia Partner Awards Event 2020.

We received this award during 2020 – a year that HP acknowledged threw a number of challenges at their partners. They describe their partners as the lifeblood of their business and wanted to acknowledge the shared success through the awards.

And while awards are great, what’s more important to our business is the opportunity to sell a quality product like the HP range of computers.

Last year was the year where people were spending more time than ever in front of their screens and less time face-to-face, so it was never more important to have functional and versatile computers and devices.

Creating, presenting and collaborating became very different and we needed our tech to evolve with the changes. We’re proud to endorse HP's laptops as an excellent option for all your work from home needs.

Recently, we did a quick review on some HP's latest laptop offerings. Here’s a quick breakdown if you’re in the market for new laptops for your team.

The EliteBook Dragonfly G2 – lighter than air apparently!

Starting at just under 1kg, it may not be lighter than air, but it’s pretty light! Its lightweight structure makes it perfect for people on the go, but it’s also impressive to its very core with the option to include a speedy 8th Gen Intel® Core vPro® processor.

It includes a display and pen, an ultra-quiet, backlit keyboard and multiple connectivity options for audio – with gigabit-class 5G LTE and Wi-Fi 6, you can work almost anywhere. Plus the audio is great – four top firing speakers by Bang & Olusfen.

It’s rated one of HP’s most secure and manageable PCs and includes HP Multifactor Authenticate Gen3, with fingerprint and facial recognition and an integrated privacy screen – it even includes HP Privacy Camera, so you never have to wonder if anyone is watching – just close the camera!

Not only is it functional, it’s looks great too with its durable iridescent dragonfly blue finish, diamond cut accents and impressive screen to body ratio.

Starting at $2,500 inc GST, we think it’s worth every penny.

The EliteBook 800 series – the triple threat

Light. Strong. And fast. That’s how HP describes this model. With its all new AI based audio and optional 5G connectivity, this lightweight laptop lets you connect from anywhere and take your office on the road.

Features like HP Noise Reduction Cancellation, loud top-firing speakers and world-facing microphone makes collaboration a breeze.

You can work confidently with a range of cutting-edge security measures including the HP Privacy Camera to protect you from malicious surveillance and features that help you browse confidently to avoid visual hackers.

If you’re prone to misplacing things, you’ll love the Tile features – you can use an intuitive app to help you find your device, near or far.

The World’s lightest AMD-based business laptop.

The ProBook 600 range is designed with connectivity, sustainability and reliability in mind. Starting at less than 1kg, the sleek 635 model can go everywhere with you.

You can expect superb connectivity with the gigabit class 4G LTE wireless broadband technology and simple connection to mobile devices with HP QuickDrop, letting your wirelessly transfer documents, photos, notes and more between your devices.

The sustainable features including a high-efficiency power supply, ocean-bound plastics used in the speaker box, and moulded-pulp packaging all help reduce the impact on the environment. The ProBook 630, 640 and 650 G8 has recycled materials in the keyboard, speakers, and packaging.

If you’re a little clumsy, breathe easy, the HP ProBook 600 series can handle bumps. It’s endured 120,000 hours of HP’s Total Test Process and is designed to pass MIL-STD 810H.

And it has power to boot. You can add an optional 11th Gen quad-core Intel® Core processor with breakthrough Intel® Iris® Xe graphics (ProBook 630/640/650 G8) or AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors.
